Rapids

Rapids are like a big water playground that you can find in some rivers. When water flows down a river, it can sometimes hit big rocks or bumps in the ground. This makes the water move faster and more chaotically, like when you spin around and around.

Rapids are when the water is moving really fast and is very bumpy. The water moves so quickly that it can push boats around and make them bounce up and down. People who like to go on adventures often go on rafts or kayaks to ride the rapids.

But, rapids can be very dangerous too. If someone falls out of a boat or hits a rock, they can get hurt. It's important to wear a life jacket and listen to the instructions of an experienced guide if you want to go rafting or kayaking in rapids.
