Rasgulla is a yummy sweet dessert that people in India really love to eat. It is usually round and white, and very spongy and soft.
To make rasgulla, people start by making a dough using something called chenna. Chenna is made by taking some milk and adding a special ingredient called lemon juice. When the lemon juice is added, the milk starts to separate into small clumps of soft cheese called curds, and a liquid called whey. The curds are collected and then washed in water - this makes them soft and creamy.
Once the chenna is ready, it is then shaped into small balls and cooked in a syrup made out of sugar and water until they become fluffy and spongy. The syrup soaks into the rasgullas making them soft and sweet.
When you eat a rasgulla, it feels like a little explosion of sweetness in your mouth. It is very easy to make, and can be enjoyed by people of all ages!
