ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Ratio of uniforms

Imagine you have a bunch of Legos of different colors and shapes. You want to pick two Legos, but you want to make sure they look good together. You could just pick them randomly and hope for the best, but that might not always work out.

So, let's say you decide to use a ratio of uniforms. It's like having a rule that says for every two red Legos you pick, you also have to pick one blue Lego. This way, you make sure you have a good mix of colors that look nice together.

The ratio of uniforms is just a fancy way of saying you have a set of rules for picking things that work well together. You can use it for more than just Legos, like picking clothes or decorating a room. Basically, it helps you make sure things look balanced and coordinated.
