Re-education camp (Vietnam)

Re-education camps are places where the Vietnamese government sends people believed to be criminals or enemies of the state. People usually stay at these camps for a long time, during which time they are taught about the laws and ideas of the country. They are not allowed to leave or talk to each other, and are punished if they disobey. People in re-education camps often face physical and mental abuse.
