ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

ReDoS

Redos, also known as "do-overs," are an opportunity to try something again after it did not go as planned the first time. Imagine you are coloring a picture and accidentally color outside the lines. A redo would allow you to try again and color inside the lines.

In many situations, redos are important because they give you a chance to correct mistakes and improve your performance. For example, if you take a test and receive a low grade, your teacher may give you a redo to try again and show what you have learned.

However, redos are not always readily available. They are often given as a privilege that must be earned or requested. Typically, redos are only given for things that can be improved upon or corrected such as schoolwork, sports drills, or musical performances.

Overall, redos provide a valuable opportunity to learn from mistakes and improve our skills. By taking advantage of these do-overs, we can become better at the things we care about and achieve our goals.
