Reading education is when people learn how to read. When we read, we are looking at letters and words on a page or screen and we can understand what those letters and words mean.
First, we learn the letters of the alphabet. This is like learning the ABCs. We learn what each letter looks like and what sound it makes. We also learn how to write these letters so we can make words.
Then, we learn how to put these letters together to make words. We learn what letters go together to make different sounds, like "sh" or "ch."
Once we can read words, we start to learn how to understand what we are reading. We learn how to use clues in the words and pictures to figure out what the whole story is about.
Reading is very important because it helps us learn new things and understand the world around us. We read books and stories to learn about history, science, and other subjects. We also read for fun because it's enjoyable to learn about new characters and places.
