ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Real-time transcription

Real-time transcription means when someone is speaking, there is a computer program that listens to the words they say and types them out so that people who are deaf or hard of hearing can read what is being said. It's like having a special helper who can quickly write down everything that is being said so that you can understand it if you can't hear it well. This is really helpful because everyone should be able to understand what is happening and what people are saying, even if they can't hear well.
