Rebreather diving

Rebreather diving is a way of going underwater to explore without needing to come up to the surface to breathe. Just like fish have gills to breathe underwater, a rebreather helps people breathe underwater by recycling the air they exhale.

When people breathe out, they release carbon dioxide, which can be harmful if too much builds up. The rebreather system filters out the carbon dioxide, and mixes the cleaned air with fresh oxygen to create new breathable air.

A rebreather device is kind of like a backpack that divers wear while they’re underwater. It has hoses and masks that connect the diver to the device, and a computer that helps regulate the air supply.

Using a rebreather can make diving a lot safer and allow divers to stay underwater for longer periods of time because they’re not using up as much air as they would on regular scuba gear. However, it’s important for divers to receive special training and to always be aware of their limits to avoid any risks or dangers.
