Red Oaks

Red oaks are tall trees with big leaves that turn a beautiful shade of red and orange in the fall. These trees are called red oaks because their bark is usually a reddish-brown color. Red oaks grow strong and tall because they have deep root systems that help them absorb water from the soil. The seeds of red oaks are spread by animals like squirrels and birds, which helps the trees grow in new places. When we cut down red oaks, we can use their strong wood to make furniture or build houses. But it's important to plant new red oaks to replace the ones we cut down, so we can keep enjoying their beauty and benefits for years to come.
