ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Reference card

A reference card is kind of like a cheat sheet, but for grown-ups who are using technical or complex things. It's a small card that has important information or instructions that you might need to use something, but you can't remember them all on your own.

For example, imagine you have a really complicated computer program that you use at work. It might have lots and lots of different buttons and settings that you need to remember how to use. But you can't remember them all in your head because there are just too many! So you might have a reference card that sits on your desk next to your computer.

This reference card might have things like a list of keyboard shortcuts or a guide to all the different menus and settings in the program. This means that whenever you forget how to do something, you can just look at the reference card instead of trying to remember it all on your own. It makes using the program much easier!
