Refugees of the Greek Civil War are people who had to leave their homes in Greece during the 1940s when the Greek Civil War happened. This was a big fight between the Greek government (who wanted Greece to stay the same) and a group of communists who wanted to change things. Lots of people were killed and hurt, homes were destroyed and people were afraid to stay in their homes. So, many people had to leave their homes and go somewhere else to be safe. They became refugees which means they were looking for a new place to live because they couldn't go home.
