Regional Red List

A regional red list is a list of animals and plants that are in danger of dying out in a particular area. It helps scientists to identify species that are most at risk and make sure they are protected. The list is made up of species that are either already extinct in a certain region at the moment, or species that are still alive in the region but in danger of becoming extinct if action is not taken. The list helps scientists figure out what kind of action needs to be taken to protect the species and make sure they don't go extinct.
