Regional communications in ancient Mesoamerica

In ancient Mesoamerica, regional communications were a way of sending messages and information between different parts of the region. People used things like carvings on stone, drawings on walls, drums, smoke signals, and runners to send messages. Carvings on stone could be used to remember important stories or events, while paintings and drawings were used to tell stories or give directions. Drums and smoke signals were also used to send messages, like a Morse code. Runners could take messages between villages or times. All of these methods allowed people in different places to communicate quickly and easily.
