ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Regional integration law

Regional integration law is like when you and your friends gather together to make a big Lego tower. You all have different Lego pieces, but if you work together, you can make a bigger and better tower than if you worked alone.

In the grown-up world, countries in the same area might come together and agree to work together on certain things. They might agree to make rules about trade (like sharing their Lego pieces), or making it easier for people to travel (like helping each other climb up the Lego tower). This is called regional integration.

But just like when you and your friends make the Lego tower, you need rules. These rules are like the instructions that tell you how to build the Lego tower step-by-step. With regional integration, these rules are called laws. These laws tell the countries what they can and cannot do when they work together.

For example, these laws might say that if you want to sell your toys in another country, you have to follow certain rules to make sure they are safe for the people who will buy them. Or they might say that everyone who wants to travel between the countries has to have a special passport or visa.

Overall, regional integration laws are like the instructions that make sure the countries in an area can work together for the benefit of everyone involved.
