Relation (mathematics)

In math, a relation is when two things have something in common. For example, you can have the relation of "greater than" between two numbers. That means the first number is bigger than the second number. Or you can have the relation of "equal to" between two numbers, which means they both have the same value. Relation is a very important concept in math because it helps us know how two things are related and helps us understand concepts better.
