Relative interior

Relative interior is like a special part inside something. Imagine a house - it has an inside and an outside. The inside of the house is the relative interior, and the outside is the rest of the house. It's kind of like the middle part of a house - the part that is isolated from the outside by walls. That part is the relative interior.
