Releasing agent

Okay kiddo, imagine you have some really sticky playdough and you want to take it out of a mold without it getting all squished and stuck in there. That's where a releasing agent comes in!

A releasing agent is a special spray or liquid that you put in the mold before you add the sticky playdough. It helps the playdough come out more easily and without any damage.

It's kind of like putting on sunscreen before you go to the beach. The sunscreen helps your skin not get all burnt and hurt later on.

So, a releasing agent helps to release sticky things (like playdough) from a mold without any damage, just like sunscreen helps protect your skin from getting burnt.
