Religion in Futurama

Okay kiddo, let me tell you about religion in Futurama. See, in the future (which is now the past), there are a bunch of different religions that exist. You know how we have different religions today like Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and others? Well, in the world of Futurama, there are even more religions and some of them are really funny.

One of the most notable religions in Futurama is called the "Church of Robotology". This is a religion that worships robots as if they were gods. They believe that robots are the highest form of life and that humans are inferior. One of the main characters, Bender, is a robot and he loves the fact that he is worshipped by members of this religion.

Another funny religion in Futurama is called "Wongism". This is a religion that was created by the Wong family, who are a rich and powerful family in the Futurama world. They believe that money is the most important thing in life and that the more money you have, the closer you are to enlightenment. This religion is a bit silly, but it's a commentary on the obsession with wealth and material possessions in our own society.

There are also more traditional religions in Futurama, like Christianity and Judaism. In fact, one of the main characters, Fry, is originally from our time (the 21st century) and he often makes references to his old life. He even meets his grandfather in one episode, who is a devout Orthodox Jew.

So, in short, religion in Futurama is a bit of a joke, but it's also a commentary on the different belief systems and philosophies that exist in our world. It's a way for the show to poke fun at religion while also acknowledging its importance in many people's lives.
