Religion in the United Kingdom

Religion in the United Kingdom is when people believe in something that is bigger than them, like God or some other spiritual force. People in the United Kingdom have different beliefs about religion, but the most common ones are Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism. Christianity is the belief in Jesus Christ, the son of God, who lived 2,000 years ago and rose from the dead. Islam is the belief in Allah, the one and only God, who sent a special messenger, named Muhammad, more than 1,400 years ago. Hinduism is the belief in many gods, who live in the universe and the cycle of life and death. People in the UK practice different religions in different ways, such as attending prayer services at a church, a mosque, or a Hindu temple.
