Religious cosmology

Religious cosmology is a way of looking at the world that is based on a religion's beliefs about the Universe and things like gods, afterlife, and creation. It helps to explain and understand the world around us. In some religions, cosmology tries to explain why things happen and why bad things happen, like why there is sickness and suffering. In other religions it might explain why the world is the way it is, and why people are the way they are. Many times, religious cosmology helps people to understand why they are here on Earth, and what purpose they have.
