Reloading scam

Okay kiddo, so reloading scams are when someone tricks you into putting money on a card, like a gift card or prepaid card, and then they take that money and run away. It’s like if you gave someone your allowance to hold for you and they never gave it back.

Now, the scammers might tell you that you have to reload the card because there’s an issue with it, or they might say that you won a prize but need to pay a small fee to claim it. They’ll keep making up excuses for why you need to keep putting more money on the card.

But here’s the thing, once you put money on the card, it’s really hard to get it back. The scammers will take the money off the card and disappear, leaving you with an empty card and a big mistake.

So, always remember to be careful when someone asks you to put money on a card, especially if you don’t know them very well. It’s always better to ask a grown-up or someone you trust if you’re not sure what to do.
