Renaissance philosophy

Ok kiddo, let's talk about Renaissance Philosophy.

Do you know what the Renaissance was? It was a time long ago when people got really interested in learning again after a long time of not caring so much. It was like a big rebirth of learning, art, and science all over Europe.

During that time, some really smart people got together and started thinking about how we understand the world around us, and why we think the way we do. They asked really big questions, like what it means to be alive. This was the start of Renaissance Philosophy!

One really famous philosopher from that time was named René Descartes. He believed that the best way to understand the world was to break things down into smaller parts and then build them back up again. He thought that we could figure out everything we needed to know about the world around us by using our minds and reasoning skills.

Another famous philosopher from that time was named Francis Bacon. He believed that the only way to truly understand the world around us was to observe it and experiment with it. He was really interested in science and believed that we had to use experiments and data to find out everything we wanted to know about the world.

Overall, Renaissance Philosophy was all about using our minds and reasoning skills to figure out everything we wanted to know about the world. It was a really exciting time for learning and discovery!
