Renewable Electricity and the Grid

Renewable electricity is electricity that comes from sources that never run out, like the sun, the wind, and water. The grid is like a bunch of highways for electricity – it moves the electricity from the place where it’s made (like a solar panel or a wind farm) to our homes and businesses. Renewable electricity is really important because it helps us protect our environment from things like air pollution and global warming.
