ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Renewable energy policy

Renewable energy policy is about how we can use energy from sources that won't run out over time. This includes things like the wind, the sun, and water. We use these things to generate electricity, and then use that electricity to power our lights, TVs, and computers. Governments around the world have created policies to encourage people and businesses to use renewable energy, like offering tax credits and other special programs. This is because clean energy helps us protect the environment.
