Reprise

Okay kiddo, so you know how in a song, there is a part that they sing over and over again? That part is called the chorus.

Well, sometimes when a song is playing or a musical is being performed, they will repeat part of the song or the whole song again later. This is called a reprise.

It's like when you ask for seconds of your favorite food at dinner, you are repeating that yummy dish again. In the same way, a reprise is when they repeat some parts of a song, to bring it back and remind us of the feeling or the emotion we felt before.

So, basically, a reprise is when they sing or play part of a song again in a slightly different way to emphasize a particular moment or feeling.
