Research-intensive cluster

A research-intensive cluster is a group of people who work together to learn more about one specific topic.

Imagine you love playing with blocks, and your friends love playing with blocks too. If you and your friends decide to work together to build something really big and cool with your blocks, that's kind of like a research-intensive cluster.

But instead of blocks, a research-intensive cluster is made up of people who are really interested in one specific topic, like medicine, technology, or the environment. They come together to learn more about that one topic and try to answer important questions related to it.

They might do this by studying books, doing experiments, interviewing experts, or even going out into the real world to observe things.

By working together and sharing what they learn, they can help scientists, doctors, and other experts make new discoveries and find new solutions to problems.
