Resin casting

Hi there! So, resin casting is kind of like making a colorful toy or a cool decoration by putting a special liquid into a mold and letting it harden.

The liquid is called resin and it's usually made of two parts that you mix together, sort of like mixing two colors of paint. Once the resin is mixed up, you can add different colors or even things like glitter or beads to make it really cool.

Next, you pour the resin into a mold, which is basically like a special shaped container that the liquid goes into. You can make molds out of different things like silicone or plastic, and you can even make your own by using clay or other materials.

Once the resin is in the mold, you have to wait for it to harden. This can take a few hours or even a whole day, depending on how big or complicated your mold is. But don't worry, you can always put it aside and come back to it later!

Once the resin is hard, you can take it out of the mold and you'll have your very own creation! It might be a pretty necklace, a shiny toy, or even a sparkly keychain.

And that's it, little one! Resin casting is a fun and creative way to make all kinds of cool things. Just remember to have an adult help you with the mixing and pouring part, since the resin can be a bit tricky to work with. Have fun!
