Responsive neurostimulation device

A responsive neurostimulation (or RNS) device is like a tiny computer that gets implanted under the skin. It works by constantly measuring a person's brain activity, and if it detects dangerous levels it sends out small electrical pulses to help stop the seizure. It's a bit like a tiny pacemaker for the brain.
