Resurrection of Jesus
So, a long time ago there was a man named Jesus who taught people about love and kindness. Some people really liked what he said, but others didn't and ended up hurting him a lot. They even put him on a big, wooden cross to die. But after he was buried in a tomb, something really amazing happened.
On the third day after his death, some women went to visit his tomb and found it empty! Later, Jesus appeared alive to his disciples, who couldn't believe their eyes! They were so happy and excited to see him again.
This is what we call the resurrection - when Jesus came back to life after dying. Many people believe that it's a miracle and proof that Jesus is really powerful and important. It's a special event for Christians who celebrate it every year on Easter.
