ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Reusable packaging

Reusable packaging is when we use containers or bags again and again instead of throwing them away after just one use.

Imagine if you had a toy that you really loved and wanted to play with again and again. You wouldn't throw it away after just one time, would you? Instead, you would play with it over and over again.

That's what reusable packaging is like. Instead of using a container or bag once and then throwing it away, we use it over and over again. This helps us save a lot of resources like plastic and paper, and it's better for the environment because we're not making as much waste.

For example, if you go out to eat and get some food to go, the restaurant might pack it in a plastic container. Instead of throwing that container away after you're done, you could wash it and use it again the next time you need to store food.

Overall, reusable packaging is a great way to help the environment and save resources by using things more than once instead of just throwing them away.
