Revenue Protection Inspector

A revenue protection inspector is a person who works for a transportation company (like a train or bus company) to make sure that people pay the right amount of money for their tickets. They are like the ticket police!

Their job is to check that everyone on the train or bus has a valid ticket or pass or if they have paid the right amount of money. They do this by going up and down the train or bus and asking people to show their tickets.

If they find someone who hasn't paid the right amount or doesn't have a valid ticket, they might ask them to pay the correct amount or even give them a fine.

Basically, revenue protection inspectors are important to make sure that everyone pays their fair share and that the transportation company can make the money they need to keep running.
