Reverberation

Reverberation is when a sound bounces off of something and echoes. Imagine you're in a long hallway - when you clap your hands, you can hear the sound echo off the walls, ceiling and floor. That echo is the reverberation. We use special rooms with lots of hard surfaces to make sure that musicians and singers sound their best - these rooms have lots of reverberation that helps their singing and instruments sound better.
