ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Reverse perspective

Have you ever seen a picture where things look like they are coming towards you instead of going away? That's called reverse perspective! Imagine you are standing in the middle of a big circle with lots of lines going outwards, like the spokes on a bicycle wheel. In regular perspective, the lines would look like they are getting smaller as they go further away from you. But in reverse perspective, the lines actually look like they are getting bigger as they go away from you!

It's like when you play with toy cars and make them drive towards you - they look bigger and closer to you, even though you know they are actually going away from you. Reverse perspective works the same way in pictures and art. It can make things look really interesting and kind of trippy!
