Revolt of the Lash

The Revolt of the Lash was a protest by the enslaved people of the Caribbean against the horrible conditions they were kept in. All over the Caribbean, people rose up and demanded to be treated better. They refused to work without being paid and demanded to be treated with respect. This revolt started a big change in how people of color were treated throughout the Caribbean, eventually leading to the abolishment of slavery.
