Richard Adams

Okay kiddo, Richard Adams was a very special man who loved animals and loved to tell stories about them. He was born a long time ago, in 1920, and he lived in England. When he was older, he worked as a civil servant and became a dad to two children.

One day, Richard Adams decided to write a book called "Watership Down." It was about a group of rabbits who had to find a new home after losing their old one. The book was very popular and people all over the world loved it. This is because Richard Adams was so good at describing the rabbits and making you feel like you were one of them.

Richard Adams didn't just write about rabbits though. He also wrote about other animals like dogs, cats, and horses. He even wrote a book about a silly meerkat called "Traveller." People loved all of his books because they were very exciting and had lots of adventure.

Sadly, Richard Adams passed away in 2016. But his books still live on and are still loved by people of all ages. He was a very special man who will always be remembered for his love of animals and his wonderful stories.
