ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Right to sit in the United States

In the United States, everyone has the right to sit down wherever they want. This means that if you are tired or have been standing for a long time, you can find a place to sit and rest.

Sometimes, people might try to tell you that you can't sit in a certain place because of the way you look or because you come from a certain country. This is not okay, and it is against the law.

The people who make the rules in the United States have made it very clear that everyone has the right to sit down and take a break whenever they need to. It's called the right to sit, and it's something that we should all respect and protect.
