Rise in core

Okay kiddo, so when we talk about a "rise in core," we're actually talking about something called Core Body Temperature.

Now, do you know what a thermometer is? It's a little device that measures how hot or cold something is. Well, our bodies have their own kind of thermometer called a "thermostat."

Just like the thermostat in your home controls the temperature, our body's thermostat controls our Core Body Temperature. Normally, it's around 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit (or 37 degrees Celsius if you're in a place that uses the metric system).

However, sometimes our Core Body Temperature can go up. This can happen when we're hot, like if we're playing outside in the sun, or when we're sick with a fever. When our Core Body Temperature rises, it can make us feel uncomfortable, sweaty, and sometimes even sick.

It's important to take care of our bodies when our Core Body Temperature is rising. We can drink more water, wear light and loose clothing, and take medicine if we need to.

So that's the basic idea of a "rise in core." Our body's internal thermometer is getting hotter than usual, and we need to take care of ourselves.
