Risk measure

Risk measures are numbers used to show how much risk something has. Risk measures can help people decide if they should do something or not. For example, if you invest in a stock, you can look at the risk measure for that stock to see how risky it might be. If the risk measure is high, then it might be a risky investment. Knowing the risk measure for something can help you make better decisions about what to do.
