Roofnet

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes the internet isn't very good in certain places and it's hard to get online? Well, a group of really smart people came up with a solution to help people in those areas get better internet called Roofnet!

Roofnet is kind of like a special Wi-Fi network that works by using antennas and other technology to connect to other antennas on different buildings. It's called Roofnet because the antennas are often put on the roofs of buildings.

But how does it work? Well, let's say you live in an apartment building and you want to use the internet. But your building doesn't have a good connection or maybe it doesn't have any internet at all. That's where Roofnet comes in!

Roofnet would put antennas on your building, and then connect those antennas to antennas on other buildings nearby. This way, even though your internet might not be that great, you can still use the internet from other buildings that are part of the Roofnet network.

It's kind of like when you pass a toy from one friend to the other - the toy might not be right in front of you, but you can still play with it because your friend passes it to you. That's how Roofnet works for internet!

Roofnet makes it possible for people in areas without good internet to still be able to access it by using a network of antennas and other technology. It's pretty cool, huh?
