Rose Revolution

Imagine you and your friends want to change the way things are done in your neighborhood. You all want to make it a better and more fair place to live in. This is what happened in a country called Georgia back in 2003. The people who lived there weren't happy with the way their government was treating them, so they decided to do something about it.

They all wore the color pink and went out on the streets, holding peaceful protests with roses in their hands. That's why it's called the "Rose Revolution".
