Okay, so a long time ago, before America became its own country, there were two big groups of people living here: the English and the Dutch. They didn't always get along and sometimes fought with each other over land.
One day, the two groups decided to make a big line on a map that would show where the English land ended and the Dutch land began. They called it the Royal Colonial Boundary of 1665.
This line went from the Delaware River all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. It helped to keep a peaceful relationship between the two groups because they agreed to stay on their own side of the line.
Of course, lots of things have happened since then and the line isn't as important anymore. Nowadays, we call those areas Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey, and they are all part of the United States.
