ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Rprop

Rprop stands for Resilient Backpropagation. It is a type of algorithm that helps computers learn how to do certain tasks, such as recognizing certain shapes or recognizing certain words. It works by adjusting how much it learns from each mistake it makes, so that it can learn from its mistakes and do better next time. This is like a kid practicing at something like riding a bike - each time they make a mistake, they change something about what they are doing, like holding the handlebars differently or going more slowly, so that it turns out better next time. Rprop is similar but it makes these changes in a way that is smart and efficient, so it can help a computer learn faster and better.
