Rubber toughening

Rubber toughening is when you add a little bit of rubber to something else (like plastic) to make it really strong and not break easily. Kind of like adding a super-strong glue to something weak, the rubber makes the thing stronger so it can hold up better when it gets hit or stressed. It's kind of like putting on a coat of armor so that the thing won't break as easily. This makes the thing stronger and more durable so you can use it for longer without it getting damaged.
