Rubble pile

A rubble pile is just like when you have a lot of different toys or blocks all piled up on top of each other. It's kind of like if you tip over your toy box and all your toys go everywhere and mix together. That big pile of toys is kind of like a rubble pile.

But for grown ups, a rubble pile is a space object that is made up of a lot of different pieces all stuck together. It's like the space object is made of a bunch of rocks and debris that are all mixed up and stuck together. This can happen when space objects collide with each other or when they are made up of debris from things like comets or asteroids.
