Ruddington

Ruddington is a village in Nottinghamshire, in the East Midlands of England. It was once one of the largest villages in the country and is now home to around 2,400 people. The village is built on a hill, has lots of old buildings and it still has parts of an old church and castle. The streets are very narrow, and the buildings are mostly made from brick and stone. There is a pond in the middle of the village and the famous Black Boy Inn which is the oldest public house in the area. The village has a lot of green spaces including parks, playing fields and a golf course. There are also some small shops, a few cafes and pubs, and it is popular with people who like to walk in the countryside.
