Running Water Farm

Okay kiddo, you know how sometimes when you turn the tap on in the kitchen, water comes out? Well, a running water farm is a place where people use lots of taps to make water flow in a special way.

They have big fields called crops where they grow things like lettuce, strawberries, and carrots. But, to make those crops grow big and healthy, they need water, just like how you need water to grow big and healthy too.

So, at the running water farm, there are lots of tubes that carry water from a big pond or a river to the crops. Sometimes the water flows on top of the ground and sometimes it goes under the ground, but it always goes to where the plants are growing.

The water keeps the plants healthy and happy so they can grow up big and strong. And that's how people can have fresh fruits and vegetables to eat all year round!
