Russian World is a term used to describe a group of people who share a common cultural and linguistic heritage related to the Russian language, culture, people, and history. This group is often based around countries in Eastern Europe, like Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Moldova. Russian World also includes countries with significant Russian populations or with a large Russian diaspora, like Latvia, Estonia, Germany, and Israel. They usually interact and support each other closely, e.g. by helping send money, goods, and resources to one another, attending religious and cultural celebrations, and attending reunions to stay in touch.
