SENSOR-Pesticides
Ok kiddo, so you know how farmers grow yummy fruits and veggies? Well, sometimes bugs and other critters like to eat those fruits and veggies too, and that's not good for the farmers because it means they won't have as much to sell.
So, farmers use things called pesticides to help get rid of those pests. Pesticides are like bug spray for plants. They come in a lot of different types and can be sprayed onto the plants or even put into the soil.
But sometimes, farmers can use too much pesticide and that's not good for the environment or for us humans who eat those fruits and veggies.
That's where sensors come in! Sensors are like little machines that can "sense" things, like how much pesticide is being used. They can tell the farmer if they're using too much, so the farmer can use just the right amount and not waste any extra.
This helps keep the fruits and veggies healthy for us to eat and it's also better for the environment!
