SS Eastland

The SS Eastland was a really big boat that people used to travel on the water a long time ago. It was going to take lots of people on a trip, but something went wrong and the boat tipped over while it was still near the shore. This was very scary and sad because many people got hurt or died. People had to work really hard to try and help the people on the boat and make sure they were okay. After this happened, people worked even harder to make sure that boats were safe and wouldn't tip over like the SS Eastland did.
