Okay, so you know how boats can float on the water, right? Well, some very skilled people called sailors know how to make the boat move and go in different directions using something called wind.
At the Summer Olympics, they have a special event for these sailors where they race their boats against each other. They have different types of boats they can choose from, like big ones called keelboats and smaller ones called dinghies.
To make things even more challenging, the sailors have to navigate through a course marked out by buoys (those big floats in the water) and avoid crashing into each other. They also have to be really good at predicting where the wind is coming from and how to use it to go faster.
The sailors who finish the race the fastest and with the least amount of penalties win medals! It's really cool to watch and involves a lot of skill and strategy.
